Cybercriminals Target Maha Kumbh Mela Pilgrims,Dupes ₹65 Thousand To A Person In Name Of Tour Package

T he Jnanabharathi police have registered an FIR against a conman for cheating a city based private firm employee promising Kumbha Mela trip.

The victim,Pradeep Krishnamurthy wanted to visit Prayagraj and checked google for a tours package and came across a number.

The victim contacted him on whatsapp and the accused identified as Rakesh,owner of Subramanya tours from Coimbatore shared the details of the package and offered hassle-free trip for a price of ₹ 64,000 per person including flight charges and accommodation.

Pradeep followed the instructions and transferred the money online.As soon as the amount was received the accused switched off the phone .

After repeated attempt Pradeep Realized that he has been cheated and approached the police.

Based on the complaint the police have registered a case against the accused charging him under IT act for further investigations.
