The opposition parties have been protesting since Wednesday alleging that Amit Shah insulted Ambedkar. In this context, NDA MPs protested on the Makardwaram steps before the commencement of Parliament on Thursday morning, saying that the Congress itself is insulting the architect of the Constitution. At the same time, opposition MPs are also protesting. They confronted each other on this occasion. The area was abuzz with slogans from both sides. At the same time, BJP MPs alleged that Rahul tried to enter the House by pushing them while they were sitting on the steps. They said that he pushed them through the middle of the MPs even though he had the opportunity to go sideways.
Head injuries
BJP MP Pratap Chandra Shadangi (69) from Odisha’s Baleshwar and BJP MP Mukesh Rajput (56) from Uttar Pradesh’s Farrukhabad were injured in the scuffle. They suffered head injuries. At this time, Rahul Gandhi came to Shadangi and saw him off. Later, they were taken to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital. Shadangi received stitches on his left cheek, while Rajput, who suffered head injuries, initially lost consciousness and later recovered, said hospital superintendent Ajay Shukla.

Kharge alleges BJP MP pushed him
On the other hand, Congress President and Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge alleged that a BJP MP pushed him, causing him to lose his balance and fall, injuring his knee, which has already undergone surgery. He wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha demanding an inquiry into the incident.
Complaints
The ruling and opposition parties have filed complaints against each other at the Parliament Street police station over the scuffle. BJP MP Anurag Thakur said that they have filed a complaint against Rahul Gandhi for using force. He said that cases of attempt to murder, assault and provocation have been filed against Rahul. He came to the station along with Bansuri Swaraj. Vadodara BJP MP Hemang Joshi submitted a two-page complaint to the police. ‘Rahul Gandhi pushed us inside between 10.40 and 10.45 am. India Alliance MPs followed him. Our MPs were injured on this occasion. Fellow TDP MP and doctor Byreddy Sabari administered first aid to the injured MP,’ he explained.
On the other hand, Congress MPs Digvijay Singh, Mukul Wasnik, Rajiv Shukla and Pramod Tiwari came to the police station and lodged a complaint against the BJP MPs. In addition, both parties have lodged complaints with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.
FIR against Rahul
The police registered an FIR against Rahul Gandhi on Thursday night in connection with the scuffle. Cases have been registered under sections 117 (causing grievous hurt with intent), 125 (endangering life or personal safety of others), 131 (criminal use of force), 351 (criminal intimidation), and 3(5) (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

BJP MP Nishikant Dubey accused Rahul Gandhi of pushing a senior BJP MP. He said that Rahul should be ashamed of himself for being a hooligan. He was angry that an elderly MP was pushed. He said that he had won as an MP four times and this was the first time he had seen such an incident. He said that Congress MPs had pushed into the BJP agitation.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge said that they will launch a nationwide movement against Union Minister Amit Shah’s comments on Babasaheb Ambedkar. Kharge and Rahul jointly addressed a media conference in Delhi. “BJP MPs prevented us from entering Parliament. They pushed me. I lost my balance and fell,” Kharge said.
