“Justice is due”Techie in Bengaluru dies by suicide,leaves 24-page note blaming,wife,& her family,

Atul Subhash,an engineer hailing from Uttar Pradesh and working in a private firm in Bengaluru,was found hanging in his residence,leaving behind a 24-page suicide note.

He also shot a 90-minute video before claiming his own life, in which he alleged that his estranged wife levelled false allegations, harassed him, and filed several cases.

The suicide of 34 year Subhash Atul,deputy general manager,AI at M&M company has led to expose of weak legal system and torture meeted out to him by his wife and family,leading him to take the extreme step.

The 24 and more page death note recovered from his apartment in Marathahalli in the early hours of Tuesday revealed that the wife who is prime accused in the case tortured him and kept his minor son away from him.

She had foisted false cases against his family members and demanded Rs.3 crore besides demanding maintenance of Rs.2.5 lakh per month .

Even the judge during the hearing mocked him and asked him to go end his life when he expressed his feelings stating that he feel like killing himself.

The judge smilied and said why don’t u do that,the note stated .

Atul also shared the chat details with his wife who was shouting and mocking him why did not u die are u alive still.

Writing a details Demands he cited that it an extortion and I can’t budge so ending my life so that the accused should be taught a lesson.

I need legal action to be taken against them and don’t dispose my ashes until I get justice.He was so desperate that even he went on saying that his ashes should be dumped in the gutter outside the court in case of there is no justice.

My parents my brother should be ensured that my wife family should not bother him,he said.

Atul also left a list of instructions about his pending work and emotional separate letter to his minor son apologising him for leaving his death.

The family alleged that the Indian laws were inclined towards women and had little for men.They also sought justice from President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Father of the victim,Pawan Kumar opened up about his son’s unfortunate demise stating that Atul was frustrated but he never let his family feel his sufferings. He said that his son’s wife slapped charges after charges against him.

“He (victim) had said to us that those in the mediation court do not work as per law, not even as per the rules of the Supreme Court.He had to go to Jaunpur from Bengaluru at least 40 times.

She (the deceased’s wife) used to frame one charge after another.He must have been frustrated but never let us feel that,”he said.

Further detailing the ordeal,Kumar said that the family received the information about the incident after Atul sent an email to his younger brother at around 1 am.

“It’s 100% true (the allegations of the deceased against his wife and her family)We cannot express the level of tension that our son would have been in,”he said.

Atul’s Brother On Suicide Incident

Brother of the deceased,Bikas Kumar, told reporters that laws in India are “for women and not for men”.

Around 8 months after my brother’s wife separated from him, she filed a divorce case and framed many charges against my brother and our entire family under different acts and sections.

Every law in India is for women, and not for men–my brother fought for this but he left us,”he said.

The brother further said that Atul did everything possible for his wife and urged President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to provide justice to his brother.

“Even in his suicide notes,he wrote that“if I win from the system,devote my mortal remains in Ganga otherwise in a gutter outside the court”My brother did everything for her.Whatever has happened was unfortunate.If he had ever discussed it with me or our father–we would have helped him get out of this situation,he said.

“I want to request the government of India and the President that justice must be done to my brother if he is with truth otherwise give me the proof to show that he is wrong.

There should be a proper investigation against the judge who is named in my brother’s suicide notes,Kumar added.

The suicide came to light when neighbours noticed no movement from his apartment and peeped through the window to find him hanging.

The Marathahalli police based on the complaint booked wife and her family charging them under abetment to suicide for further investigation.
