A 30-year-old private firm employee filed a complaint with the east division cyber crime police that her gaming account linked to FB was hacked to sell her account and also watched child pornography using her credentials .
Based on the complaint,the police on Monday registered a case against unknown person charging him under identity theft 66(C)and cheating by impersonation act for further investigations.
The victim,resident of Horamavu said that he is having the FB Id since 2013 and also playing glitch gaming 2.0 linked to her Id and invested around Rs.2 lakh towards the purchase of game.
On last Sunday she realized that her FB account was disabled due as the policy of violence.The victim realized that the hacker had sold her gaming account to another user for personal gain.
The victim raised a complaint with the FB grievance cell about the hack and misuse with a request to unable the account before approaching the cyber crime police to track down the accused and take legal action.
I have also underlined bank statement of my account where in I have made investment for my well-being of my gaming profession”,the victim, said in her complaint adding that she was using my account since 2013 and never violated the policy.
