he CCB officials on Monday arrested a businessman for opening six rounds of fire in the air with the licensed pistol as part of a birthday celebration on September 22.
One of his friends who is part of the birthday celebration recorded the incident on his mobile phone and put it up on social media,which was taken cognisance by social media wing of the city police.
Based on Suo Motu action the CCB officials arrested Syed Altaf Ahmed,a realtor and seized the weapons .
Since the incident occurred at a scrap godown of his friend in Bannerghatta to celebrate his friend Moin Khan birthday.
The police seized his pistol and six rounds of ammunition from him .
The police also recommend cancellation of his license and further investigation are on.
