High speeding car lost control and crashed two electric poles no casualties BESCOM to file complaint for pole damage

A high-speeding car lost control and crashed into two electric poles on the footpath along the IISc Circle to Yeshwanthpur road in the early hours of Sunday.

The accident took place around 3 AM when a Mahindra XUV 500,traveling at high speed,veered off course and struck the poles,causing severe damage to the front of the vehicle.Both front tires burst due to the impact.

The driver,identified as Someshekhar,fled the scene after the incident.He is suspected to have been under the influence of alcohol, as liquor bottles were discovered inside the car.The driver lost control while approaching Yeshwanthpur Circle,causing the vehicle to swerve onto the footpath before hitting the electric poles.

The Yeshwanthpur Traffic Police have informed BESCOM to file a complaint regarding the damage to the electric poles.Authorities are currently trying to locate Someshekhar,and a case is yet to be registered.Further details will emerge once the driver is apprehended.
