A group of social activists and advocates on Wednesday submitted a petition before the Advocate General of High court seeking his intervention to get the bad patch of road repaired situated between High court and press club .

The bad patch of road situated close to the office of the state bar council,KGID building and press club leading to the Cubbon park where hundreds of advocates, journalists, and pedestrian suffer as the patch was riddled with potholes.

Since the road was leading to High court and Vidhana Soudha and also used by many visitors outside,it shows the administration in bad light.

Taking exception,T.Narasimhamurthy, approached the BBMP and filed a petition requesting to repair the road, but the officials explained that it does not come under their jurisdiction and asked him to go to PWD.

Even after visiting PWD the officials told him that same thing and said that the road maintenance was taken care by horticulture department.

Taking the things forward when Mr.Murthy approached the horticulture department, they asked him to approach the BBMP,again.

This is just a case of passing the buck and no one is taking the responsibility,he said while staging a protest with the group of advocates and social activists .

With No option left, they sumitted a petition with the AG seeking his intervention to issue necessary direction in this regard.
