Due to the rains, the rivulets and meanders overflowed and flooded the low-lying areas of the villages and colonies. Mainly in the combined districts of Khammam, Warangal and Nalgonda there was heavy damage. Flooding occurred in some places in the rest of the districts. Three streams overflowed in Khammam district and submerged the city of Khammam. Houses were submerged in 15 colonies. Mahabubabad district is stuck in water blockade. The district center was submerged. In Mahabubabad district, the track between Intikanne-Kesamudram stations and about 300 meters between Mahabubabad-Tallapoosapalli stations has been eroded. 24 trains have been suspended on this route. The embankment under the railway tracks was eroded at Mathampally in Suryapet district. In many places in the state, houses, walls and trees fell due to rains and strong winds.
In Nalgonda, Suryapet and Mahbubnagar districts, irrigation canals were cut off at many places. The embankments of the ponds were washed away. 132.5 km to Nagarjunasagar left canal in Nadigudem mandal of Suryapet district. At the ‘Sagar’ left canal, a huge dam fell. The left canal of Nagarjuna Sagar in Khammam district has also suffered huge floods at two places. While 15 people died due to rains across the state, more than five people went missing. On the Hyderabad-Vijayawada national highway, vehicles were stuck for kilometers due to flooding at many places. Police cordon was established at many places and traffic was diverted.

Khammam Atalakulam
Colonies and settlements in the catchment area were submerged due to the rise in flow in Munneru river near Khammam city. About 15 colonies in the city were flooded. As the flood flowed up to 10 feet, water reached up to the second floor of some buildings. People reached the third floor and the buildings above and waited for help. It is estimated that 110 villages in Khammam district have been affected by the flood.
- Due to heavy rain since Saturday night, flood water entered many houses in Manuguru town of Bhadradri district. A total of 10 colonies were stuck in water blockade on Sunday morning. Cars and two-wheelers were washed away. Goods were washed away from some houses and shops. Traffic stopped in four villages in Gundala mandal and three villages in Allepalli mandal due to overflowing streams. The main canal of Sitarama project in Kothur suburb of Mulkalapally mandal has been silted up to 30 meters.
- In Kothagudem town, the flood reached the houses in Srinagar and Pragatinagar areas. 30 cattle were washed away in the stream of Palavagu in Urladosapadu in Burgampadu mandal.
- 13 houses in Kinnerasani village and 30 houses in Ulvanur under Kinnerasani Reservoir in Palvancha Mandal were submerged. The affected people grabbed the equipment and ran away in fear.
- Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao visited the flood-prone areas of Munneru in Khammam city on Sunday evening. He expressed his anger at the authorities as the locals said that 9 people were trapped on the Prakashnagar bridge but no one responded. They camped near the bridge saying that they would not leave until the flood victims were rescued. Finally at night the NDRF teams came and gave instructions to them.
- Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy and MP Raghuram Reddy visited Venkatagiri Bridge and Karunagiri areas of Khammam Grameen Mandal, which were flooded in Munneru, on Sunday evening. The minister talked to the victims and got to know the problems.
- Paleru stream overflowed at Nallabandagudem in Suryapet district. Due to the bursting of nearby ponds, there was a heavy flood on the Hyderabad-Vijayawada National Highway at Nallabandagudem in Kodada Mandal, which is the border of the state. Due to this, the police stopped the vehicles coming from the AP side. About six km. The vehicles stopped. Traffic from Hyderabad and Suryapet towards Khammam has stopped since Sunday morning. As the buses were stopped there, the passengers were put to serious trouble.

With the flood coming downstream from Kodada town, the flood of Chimiryalavagu and Paleru vagu has increased suddenly. In Kodada, it has been raining more than ever in the last 30 years, and due to the encroachment, the large pond has not been able to release the water, so many areas have become waterlogged. Many residences were submerged in Srimannarayana Colony, Ambedkarnagar, Gandhinagar, Bhawaninagar, Mata Nagar, HR Nagar, Nayanagar, Azadnagar and Srinagar colonies in Kodada town. As the flood water stood knee-deep in Nayanagar and Shirdi Nagar, the people of the inundated areas were shifted to safer areas with the help of JCBs and boats. The flood flow is reaching Kodada town after the embankment of Narayanapuram dam in Chilukur Mandal has broken. Two lorries, a bus and many other vehicles were washed away in the flood. In Miryalaguda of Nalgonda district, many colonies were waterlogged due to heavy rain.

- Due to the rains in Rangareddy, Hyderabad and Yadadri Bhuvanagiri districts, the height of Isa and Musi rivers has increased.
- Due to heavy rains in Siddipet district, the river rose and flooded the road between Siddipet and Husnabad. Vehicles were diverted. Chinnakodur Mandal Dargapalli-Sikindlapur road has stopped traffic due to flood.
- The stream overflowed between Tangedipalli-Maddikunta villages of Sadashivapet mandal of Sangareddy district.

- The Pranahita river near the village of Racharla, Vemanapalli, Sumputam, Vemanapalli mandal of Manchiryala district is flowing full. Between Nilvai and Mamada villages, Orre, Chamanapally and Baddampally villages, Peddagu was flowing high and the traffic was disrupted.
- In several villages of Nirmal district, the traffic came to a standstill as the flood went over the low-level bridges.
- The Penganga River on the Telangana-Maharashtra border is flowing high. Crop fields were submerged in Bela and Zainath mandals of the nearby Adilabad district due to backwaters.
- 70 thousand tons of coal production was disrupted across Singareni on Saturday.

Flood brakes for RTC buses
Today, Hyderabad: Heavy rains put brakes on RTC travel across the state. Other motorists also drowned in the flood water. As National Highway 65 between Hyderabad-Vijayawada, a key city in Telugu states, has been caught in floods, buses and other vehicles are being diverted towards Narkatpally-Nalgonda-Miryalaguda route. Buses got stuck in floods at many places due to rivers. Heavy rains affected the traffic of buses in 218 routes across the state.
In Dhanwada mandal of Narayanapet district, people are holding each other as the flood flows on the bridge between Kotapakka Colony and NTR Colony.
RTC buses cover an average of 32 lakh km daily. Travel far. Due to heavy rains, this number increased to 20-22 lakh km on Sunday. It seems that it has not passed. 218 routes and 809 buses have been affected by rains in 11 RTC regions of the state. Many buses left late. Culverts and roads were blocked for hours due to rainwater. On the other hand, 566 buses were completely cancelled. Most of them are limited to 168 depots in Khammam district, 152 in Warangal and 72 in Ranga Reddy.
A large number of buses plying from seven depots in Khammam region to Hyderabad have been cancelled. Vijayawada also stopped from six depots. In Nizamabad region.. Kamareddy-Bansuvada, Nizamabad-Sirikonda-Bhimgal, Kamareddy-Bhimgal, Nizamabad-Bhimgal, Rangareddy region.. Many buses have been canceled on Tandur-Mahabubnagar, Parigi-Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad-Srisailam routes.
