Chief Minister Revanth Reddy warned that many of those who have built luxurious farmhouses in the ponds are in positions that can influence the society and the government.. They may be directly involved in the government. He made it clear that this is not a program being undertaken for the sake of politics or keeping political leaders in mind. They said that lakes, rivers and ponds are wealth to be passed on to future generations. He reminded us that Chennai, Uttarakhand and Wayanad have seen the consequences if nature gets angry. The Chief Minister organized the installation of Anant Sesha for Radhakrishna Pradhan Temple, Sreesitarama, Gaura Nitai and Srinivasa Govinda temples to be built in the sanctum sanctorum of the 430 feet Harekrishna Heritage Tower under the auspices of Harekrishtha Movement in Kokapet, Hyderabad. Participated in Homam and Purnahuti. Heritage Tower plaque and 3D model unveiled. Donors who provided financial support for the construction of the tower were honoured. Lakes are the attraction of the city.
“It is everyone’s responsibility to save Hyderabad. Ponds are the attraction of the beautiful city. The government takes the responsibility of protecting them. Minister Sridhar Babu said that Akshaya Patra Foundation under the auspices of Hare Krishna Movement is appreciative of providing meals to 22 lakh poor students across the country. He said that the CM’s idea of making the city a spiritual capital of the world was realized with the programs undertaken by Harekrishna and the heritage towers. He asked to fill the stomachs of poor students by providing foundation meals in all the government schools of the state. He said that the CM has the idea of giving subsidized rice to the poor, and if Akshaya Patra comes forward, it will benefit lakhs of children. He expressed his concern that today’s youth are not going to temples and parents are also busy with their daily duties and are unable to pay attention to it. He said that moral and spiritual values need to be taught to the youth. He said that the CM is going forward with determination to protect the ponds of the state and asked people to stand in support. Twin reservoirs quench the city’s thirst if the Godavari and Krishna rivers dry up. Some of them have built farmhouses for the rich. If the drainage water of the farmhouses built for luxurious lives is left in the illegal constructions of the encroachers in Gandipet and Himayatsagar… if the people of the city have to drink that water… then I have failed as a public representative. Madhu Pandit Dasa for the goal of hunger-free Telangana
