Hiten Shukla, Gujarat: On the occasion of 78th Independence Day on 15th August 2024, Sh Abhishek Pathak, IPS, Inspector General, BSF Gujarat Frontier hoisted the national flag at Seema Darshan, Nadabet near Indo-Pak International Border in presence of senior officers andB SF personnel, school children, and local citizens. The historic moment was celebrated in a very cheerful and patriotic atmosphere, which instilled a sense of nationalism and pride in all.
As part of the celebrations, IG Guj Ftr flagged off a bike rally of 25 bikers from Seema Darshan to Zero Point.
Independence Day was also celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm at all Units and Headquarters under Gujarat Frontier.
BSF personnel celebrated the Independence Day at forward BOPs on the International Borders while discharging their duties, thereby further strengthening the spirit of patriotism and displaying loyalty and dedication towards the country.
