Depressed Woman killed one of her twin daughter before walking into the station arrested

epressed over the autstic problem,a 34-year-old woman allegedly strangled her three-year-old daughter at her house in South Bengaluru’s Subramanyapura on Thursday .

The accused Ramya,wife of Venkatesh,a software engineer presently working Abroad ( Norway).

The couple hailed from Tamilnadu had twin daughters and staying in a flat in Manjunathnagar Bengaluru for the last ten years.

According to the police,Ramya was depressed that one of the twin daughter is autistic and she being in IT company quit the job to take care of the baby while her twin sister used to go to pre-school.

It is said that Ramya was depressed about the health condition and future of her daughter .

Probe revealed that Ramya at around 12.30 pm allegedly used a veil to strangle,Preetika and later called her brother-in-law to inform about the murder.

She even took the daughter to a near-by private hospital where doctor confirmed the baby was dead. By the time brother in law could reach home,she went to the police station and surrendered .

Ramya was allegedly afraid of her daughter growing autistic as the kid had problems with speech development,and decided to kill her .

Ramya stayed with her two daughters at a flat in a private apartment complex in Manjunatha Nagar under the Subramanyapura police station limits.

She worked in a private company until a few months ago,she had quit and stayed at home taking care of her kids.

The Subramanyapura police have registered a case of murder and investigating to ascertain the exact reason behind Ramya‘s act.
