T he Kengeri police have arrested a rowdy and his five associates who had taken supari from a businessman to kill a RTI activist on February 29.
The accused Krishna,30, a rowdy-sheeter with Basaveshwaranagar and his associates Manish Pujary, 28,Shashikumar Reddy,20,Satish,42,Venugopal,57 and Govindaraju,farm house owner and associated with political party.
The accused confronted the victim, Nagaraj, K near railway underpass in Kengeri and attacked him with lethal weapons before fleeing the spot.
The Injured Nagaraj was shifted to the hospital and the Kengeri police have registered a case of attempt to murder and track down Krishna and his associates .
The accused Govindaraju was upset with Nagaraj for troubling him with RTI quarries and decided to teach him a lesson. He contacted Krishna and offered him Rs.5 lakh to attack Nagaraj said a senior officer.
