hree people including a woman were killed and six others injured when a speeding truck crashed into the tempo traveler,they were travelling near Byrapattna in the outskirts of Channapattana on Bengaluru Mysuru express way in the early hours of Saturday.
The deceased have been identified as Somalingappa, 70, Somappa,68 and Rajeshwari .
The injured were admitted to the hospital and were treated in the ICU,the police,said .
The victims according to the police were returning to Mysuru after attending a wedding of their relative in Haveri .
The impact of the accident was so high that the vehicle was mangled and many people were thrown on the road.
Passers-by along with the police rushed to the victims help and blocked the road for sometime before clearing the damaged vehicles traffic was disrupted for some time on the expressway .
The police have registered a case and investigating to ascertain the cause of accident.
