trong backward communities are taking benefits of reservation: Bommai
Accepting the Kantharaj Backward Commission report was nothing but a Lok Sabha election stunt.Only the strong backward classes were deriving the benefits of reservation and the most backward classes need to be rendered justice, said former Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Talking to reporters here on Monday before participating in a huge rally to protest against the failures of the State Government, he said the backward classes are divided Into A,B and C categories and those in the first category were very backward and suffered injustice.
They haven’t got anything as the benefits were enjoywd by the powerful communities.Those who haven’t received anything must be rendered justice.
He termed accepting the Kantharaj Commission report as the poll stunt as the poll conduct would come into force by thenrime they receive the report.Giving that reason,the report would be kept in the cold storage.
Asked about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah addressing President Draupadi Murmu in singular language, Bommai critised the Congress leader and said she belongs to a most backward tribe and hail from the oppressed community.It was not correct on the part of Siddaramaiah to address her in singular language.
