The Subramanyapura Police have arrested a gang of five people who killed their friend over drunken brawl on Thursday.
The accused are identified as,chandrashekhar,Pritham, Yashwanth,Prashant and Lankesh,working as cab driver and private firm employees .
The deceased Darshan,had got the money from his family to buy groceries but he went along with the accused to a local bar to party.
After getting drunk the accused started to fight following which darshan went to his friend s house and continued to booze.
The accused followed Darshan and started fighting with his friend over a trivial row. Darshan tried to pacify them but the accused in an inebriated state assaulted darshan brutally and killed him on the spot.
The accused fled the scene leaving behind Darahan.The police rushed to the spot and later track down the accused and arrested them.
