The HSR Layout police cracked the murder case of 30-year-old security guard and arrested his wife and male friend who killed him with a grinding stone to make it look like natural death on January 6.
The accused Nandini Bai,20,native of Andhra Pradesh was married to Venkataramana Nayak,30,a security guard .
The couple moved to the city few years ago as Nayak used to work as salesman in a store in day time and work as security guard at night the couple had two minor children .
The accused Nandini used to call her male friend, Nitish Kumar home frequently when Nayak was out to work.
However Nayak returned home early and found them at home.Heated argument ensued following which the duo killed him using a grinding stone
They later planned to conceal the crime,dumped the body outside the washroom situated in the compound of the house.
After Nitish escaped,Nandini created a scene and cooked up a story that Nayak who returned home from work felt uneasy and collapsed outside the bathroom.
The police had taken up a case and shifted the body for post-mortem while began probe suspecting her role.
The police analyzed the technical details to ascertain her role while post-mortem report confirmed a severe head injury caused the death.
The police arrested the duo charging them with murder and the minor children have been handed over to the family members until further orders from the court .
