Karnataka Police conduct drug awareness programme at 2300 schools and colleges across Karnataka

Following the directions,the state police conducted awareness program in 2300 schools and colleges across the state on Wednesday .

According to an official release,the awareness program was carried across the state as per the directions of Director General and Inspector General of Police and Head of Police Force, Karnataka State.

A State-wide awareness programme against the use and supply of narcotics especially in Schools and Colleges across the state.

The police officials from the rank of PSI upto SPs and DCPs have been asked to conducted awareness programme through Presentations,Skits,Debates and Talks against ill effects of drugs and narcotics.

This awareness drive was a grand success across the State with thousands of students getting addressed on this issue.

An intensive drive has also been launched all over the state from December 21 to December,31,2023 to search and seize various categories of drugs and contraband substances.
