The Channapatna rural police have arrested a 21-year-old woman for killing her 1.3 years of son over a fight with family on Tuesday.
The accused Bhagya,threw her son Devraj into Kalikere lake and later informed her parents about it.
The police and fire and emergency service personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the body on Wednesday.
Senior officer told reporters,the accused was married three years ago and had a child.The accused returned to her parents house after domestic row with husband and started living.
Bhagya would fight with her family parents frequently . The accused started having an affair and suspected that he killed her toddler son.
The police have taken the accused into custody for further investigations.
