Satyajeet Harne Senior Divisional Engineer Bengaluru Division Of South Western Railway To Be Awarded With Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar-2023

Satyajeet Harne,Senior Divisional Engineer,Bengaluru Division,presently working as Deputy Chief Engineer, Gati shakti Unit of South Western Railway selected for the Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar– 2023.

He is 34 years old,native of Indore,Madhya Pradesh.
The award presentation function will be held at Bharat Mandapam,Pragati Maidan,New Delhi on 15th December.

Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar (AVRSP) is an award presented to 100 railway employees over Indian Railways who have shown exemplary, outstanding, meritorious and commendable performance in various categories.

The award includes presentation of a Silver Medal and Merit Certificate to the awardees.

The entire award eco-system conferred by Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) has been revised from the year 2023 onwards,according to which Award at Ministry of Railways level the erstwhile National Railways Award has been renamed as ‘Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar.

Satyajeet Harne has been selected for this award in category of exemplary works done to improve operations,security and safety,better maintenance and utilization of assets.

While he worked as Sr.Divisional Engineer (East), Bengaluru Division has done various exemplary works like engineering related works for raising the speed of Bengaluru–Jolarpettai section which reduced the travel time between Jolarpettai-Bengaluru,Over hauling/deep screening of loop lines/goods shed line of Satellite Goods terminal,Krishnarajapuram Yard.

Krishnarajapuram Diesel Shed,Bridge rehabilitation, Commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant of 4 Lakh litre capacity at Krishnarajapuram Diesel Shed which resulted in saving of Rs. 20.65 lakhs annually, Rain water harvesting pits with borewell were done duly tapping – 7620 sqmtr of roof area to enhance ground water recharge works during the year 2023.

Due to his continuous input and monitoring given to track and safety, there was no unusual accident/incidence in this section in FY 2022-2023.
