A 35-year-old labourer was bludgeoned to death by his younger brother over illicit affair in the outskirts of the city on Monday.
The deceased Gangaraju,was married to Bhagyamma and the couple had three children.
However the accused Ravi younger brother of Gangaraju had an affair with Bhagyamma and they eloped two years ago.
Gangaraju had admitted his three children to residential school and working as labourer to support their education and other essentials.
The accused returned few days ago to the village and furious Gangaraju had a fight with them over this issue and asked them to get out from his life.
Furious with the humiliation,the duo returned home late in the night and attacked Gangaraju while he was sleeping,killing him on the spot by crushing his head with a stone and escaped .
The Doddabelevangala police have registered a case of murder and efforts are on to track down Ravi and Bhagyammma who are presently on the run.
