IIT graduate turned Hacker breaching into reward 360’s system arrested by Southeast CEN Police recovered Rs.4.16 Crores Worth valuables

A man from Andhra Pradesh was arrested by CEN Police of South East Bengaluru City Division who bought gold & silver worth crores of rupees through reward points scam by hacking Reward 360 company.

The accused hacked the website and used vouchers given by company to its customers before the customers could use it.A total estimated value of Rs.4,16,63,000 has been recovered from the accused.

The Southeast Cyber crime police on Tuesday arrested a hacker and recovered 4.16 crore worth valuables which he had stolen after breaching into reward 360’s system .

The accused Bommaluru Lakshmipathi,from Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh,claimed to be graduated from IIT and worked in many IT companies in Dubai and Bengaluru before hands on ethical hacking.

Using the expertise Lakshmipathi would hacked the website of the company and used all the unused reward points to purchase valuables online.

Based on the complaint,the police track down the accused and arrested him.

Among the recovery,the police seized 5.2 kilos of gold valuables,27.2 kilos of silver articles,11.3 lakh cash, seven two wheelers,over 26 lakh worth wallet accounts, two laptops and three mobile phones from him.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,B Dayananda, has appreciated Addl CP East,Raman Gupta,DCP Southeast,CK Baba,ACP,Lakshminarayan,PI,Harish and his whole team for the exemplary and meticulous investigation done by them in nabbing the Hacker who hacked the reward points of 360 company and cheated them worth crores and a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
