Gangster turned DMK functionary attack case cracked by Banaswadi police arrested gang of four

The Banaswadi police cracked the case and arrested a gang of four who are involved in the brutal attack on VK Gurusami (53),a gangster turned DMK functionary at a hotel in Kammanahalli in broad day light on last Monday.

Senior officer told reporters,Gurusammi,from Madurai having multiple criminal cases pending against him having a gang rivalry who allegedly paid supari to a gang to eliminate .

The accused followed Gurusami who had come to city to look for a house and attacked him at a hotel while he was having tea with a real estate agent and escaped in a car.

Based on the technical evidence,a special team of police went to Tamilnadu and track down the assailant who are said to be hired by the rival gang to eliminate .

Gurusami who was admitted to the hospital is recovering and said to be out of danger.

Manwhile a prime accused in the case identified as Naveen Nagaraj,who was on the run surrender before the court related to another murder case pending against him.

The police are now in touch with the Tallakulam police to seek body warrant of Nagaraj to question him related to attack on Gurusami.
