Six among 3 killer fugitives from Lanka nabbed in Bengaluru by CCB

T he Economic Offence Wing of the Central Crime Branch officials who are on the pursuit of a fugitive rowdy caught Six including three Sri Lankan Nationals involved in series of murders and staying in the city illegally .

The arrested have been identified as,Kasan Kumara Sanka,36,Amila Nuwan,36 Kaduwela and Ranga Prasad, 36,all hailing from Sri Lanka.Mansoor,a resident of Chennai and Anbazhagan,a resident of Vivek Nagar in Bengaluru city.

The duo had been assisting the three Sri Lankan nationals, wanted for multiple murders back home in Sri Lanka,arrested in the city,to flee the country.

Based on a tip off,team led by ACP,Manjunath Chowdhary and team swoop down vishwaprakurthi Greenwood apartment and pin down the Rowdy Jai Paramesh,42,along with Kasan Kumara Sanka,36 , Minuwangoda,Gampha,Sri Lanka,Amila Nuwan,36 Kaduwela,Colombo,Sri Lanka,and Ranga Prasad,36, Nagalagam street,Colombo,Sri Lanka.

The officials seized 13 mobile phones,Aadhar cards, Voters ID and other documents from the accused and suspect that they have had a major plans to carry out in the city,which has been averted on time,Joint Commissioner of Police, Dr SD Sharanappa,said .

Initial probe revealed that the duo crossed sea route in a boat and reached Salem from there came to Bengaluru 20 days ago with the help of their contacts identified as Jalal.

The accused was later handed over to Parmesh who is staying with them in the apartment.The five among trio had around four to five murder cases pending against them in Sri Lanka and were on the run since them.

Except Simhali,the accused are not aware of any other languages and communicating with Parmreshwar in broken and sign language,a senior officer, said .

The accused have been taken into custody to ascertain the reason behind their presence in the city while efforts are on to track down Jalal who is on the run.
