Unknown person booked for creating forged letter with signature of Chief Secretary trying to get order to supply first aid boxes to govt schools

The Vidhana Soudha police have registered a case of cheating and forgery against an unknown person for creating a forged letter with fake signature of chief secretary trying to get the order to supply first aid boxes to all government schools.

The incident came to light when principal secretary, Department of school Education and Literacy,Ritesh Kumar Singh,received the letter directing the officials of the education department to purchase the first aid boxes from Deshpande services .

The officials realized that it was fake as any purchase orders should be done through e procurement and forwarded the letter to under secretary,Mallikarjun Ramachandrappa,to conduct an inquiry into this.

The letter was circulated through whatsapp and hence a complaint has been filed seeking detailed probe from the police to track down the accused.
