Manoj Srivastava IAS and Ex Addl. Chief Secretary MP Government said that
History is the wave of time, the witness of our mortals. Art is the leap towards immortality.
Dr. Shailesh Srivastava said Arts are life. Living life is an art, As far as the history of art is concerned, the reality is that history and civilization are the result of arts and artistic life. Merely the history of time has no special meaning. The journey of human civilization itself becomes history. That’s why the history of any animal is not thought of. Only the civilized man and his civilization have a history.
Dr. Ramesh Gaur Director National School of Drama said that Visual art recounts stories of our past, it gives an account of past events. Art history allows us to look back and understand how our civilization evolved over the centuries. It is a way to know ourselves better. Why do we have certain values? What shaped the way we think and our vision of the world?

For instance, one rigvedic monologue is about a gambler whose life is ruined because of it and has estranged his wife caves dating back to the 3rd century BC and Khandagiri caves from the 2nd century BC are the earliest examples of theatre architecture in India.
