Tech Savvy Officer B Dayananda takes charge as new police commissioner of Bengaluru City,Traffic Management,Focusing on Cyber Crimes,war on drugs,Rowdism are top priority challenges

inutes after taking over as city police commissioner, B.Dayananda said that on focus as a head of the city police force to strengthen the force to ensure people friendly police and justice for all .

People approaching senior police officers only when they do not get respite at the station level.This is one of the priority that people are heard and get their issues resolved at the station level,he said .

Apart from focus on cyber crime and traffic management,contain rowdy activities and keep a tab on social media to contain provocative and inflammatory posts for necessary action will be on the list.

The police personnel working in the social media wing will be Strengthening intelligence wing,which is backbone of every force,is also on priority.

The wing will be technically upgraded for predicting policing and to monitor anti social and subversive activities effectively .

Focuss on traffic management and cyber crime is the top priorities,says B Dayananda,who took over as city police commissioner of Wednesday.

The outgoing commissioner CH Pratap Reddy handed over the baton to Dayananda .

Speaking to media after taking over Dayananda said that people have trust in department and he will work hard to retain the trust in the department.

There are many challenges and will be taken up on priorities..

Traffic management in the city need coordinations from civic agencies,the department will work with the agencies to manage traffic in better way.

He however replying to a question said that there was no decisions yet on towing system.The department will study the pros and cons submit report to the government..

Cyber crime is another challenge faced by the city police .there is over load of cases in the cyber crime stations and police required training to investigate the cases effectively.

The required training will be provided to all the police officials to handle cyber crime cases at regular stations which can help reduce the burden of cyber crime police personnel.
