ishing the newly-elected Speaker in the State Legislative Assembly U.T.Khader best wishes,former chief minister Basavaraj Bommai said let his weighing machine be equal.
Speaking in the Legislative Assembly on Wednesday, he said the State Legislative Assembly has its own status and it was happy that Khader was appointed as the Speaker for this August house.
He has 20 years of experience as a legislator and minister and always worked without losing patience at any point in time.
You have effectively handled the post of Deputy Leader of the Opposition in the State Legislative Assembly. The previous Speaker also upheld the dignity of the post.

Bommai said the post of Speaker has a special significance in the Constitution and the survival of the governments had been decided.
A few rulings of the Speaker have been moved to the Supreme Court.The ruling given by the chairman will become a landmark.

The former CM said a say in English ‘Opposition has way, the government has way’. So, the opposition must be given more preference.
