Conman hacked Directorate of EDCS bank account and withdraw cash probe on

The Central Division Cyber Crime police are on the lookout for a person who hacked into the bank account belonging to state government owned Directorate of Electronic Delivery of Citizen Services on March 22.

The incident came to light on Wednesday when,Meena J, accountant found the amount has been encashed by presenting two cheque leaves from the saving bank account belonging to the directorate .

Meena In her complaint said that the directorate neither issues any cheques to any person and the cheques leafs are in the custody of the office.

The police have sought the details of the cheque encashment and sought the CCTV footage to identify the people who received the cash.
