Two Bangladeshi Nationals staying illegally in Bengaluru arrested by Kadugodi police

The Kadugodi police on thursday arrested two Bangladeshi nationals staying in the labours colony in Seegehalli illegally for many years.

Based on the tip off from a city based NGO,a team of police led by Assistant Sub Inspector,Narayanawamy track down the accused labour colony in Chikkabanahalli in Kadugodi and arrested Shafiq,29 and Bilal Mohammed Alam,34 who are working as daily wage labourers .

Initially the duo refused that they are Bangladeshi Nationals but a detailed probe led them to confess.

The duo told the police that they have crossed porous border to come to India and reached West Bengal.After working as labourer for sometime they moved to many metro cities before landing in Bengaluru for the last four years .

The Kadugodi police have booked them under Foreigners act and investigating further to ascertain whether they are more Bangla nationals over staying in the city.
