Two Inter-state HBT offenders arrested stolen property worth Rs.65 lakhs recovered by Amrutahalli police

he Amrutahalli police inspector Guruprasad and his team have arrested two inter state house break thieves and recovered 1 kilograms of gold valuables,6.5 kilograms of silver articles worth Rs.65 lakh from them.

The accused have been identified as Saleem Rafigh Sheikh,resident of Malad in Mumbai and his associates Yaseen Maqbool Khan,42,from Palghar in Maharastra.

Senior officer told reporters the accused had break into the house of a businessman and escaped with the valuables when he along with his family members had gone to Tirupathi on January 23 .

Based on a complaints the police analyzed the CCTV and other technical details before tracking down the accused .

During investigation it was found that Saleem and his associates had committed similar house breaks in metro cities of Delhi,Mumbai,Hyderabad and Gujarat cities having over 35 cases pending against him.

The accused is a proclaimed offender and had jumped bail and on the run after warrant issued by the courts from metro cities.

With his arrest the police have managed to solve 10 house break thefts reported in Bengaluru,Tumakuru and Belagavi towns.
