TTE misbehaves with woman passenger inebriated state arrested by Cantonment Railway Police

The cantonment Railway police on Monday arrested a 42-year-old Traveling Ticket Examiner for misbehaving with a woman passenger allegedly in an inebriated state on Tuesday.

The victim Piyali Burman,22,from West Bengal had come to blore by hawrah express to search for jobs.

After getting down at KR puram station she was walking over footbridge to go out when the accused Santosh Kumar V,42,TTE, confronted her demanding ticket.

While Ms.Piyali was trying to take out the ticket from her luggage bag,the accused Santosh Kumar hurled abuse manhandled her even tried to scratch her face with a pen.

Shocked by his rude behaviour she noticed he was drunk and warned him to file complaint with police.

The accused even threatened and hurled abuses saying he is not scared of anyone.

The victim on Friday filed a complaint based on which the accused has been arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
