50 crore overdrafts in West Bengal BJP’s Bank account say sources

Abhijit Ray,Kolkata:West Bengal state BJP is facing a serious issue with their bank account in West Bengal. The news has come out from the state BJP party sources. It is learned that the situation is so complicated that the bank authorities have stopped withdrawing money from BJP accounts for the time being. The news has also reached BJP’s central office in Delhi.The state BJP has an account with Punjab National Bank (PNB). The accounts of various branches of the party are also here. On Wednesday and Thursday, trouble was detected while withdrawing money. The bank says the money can’t be withdrawn now. Then the senior BJP leaders went to inquire and came to know that 50 crore rupees wereover drafted in the bank. As a result, no more money can be withdrawn.Two other BJP leaders were also called to find out if this was true, but the answer is true. The state BJP leaders then reported the matter to the BJP’s central leadership, including B L Santosh, in Delhi, and now, Delhi is in talks with the bank. According to bank sources, a large amount of overdraft amount was being withdrawn and now, the state BJP has been asked by the bank to repay it.     Meanwhile, there is a lot of discussion in the BJP circles about this and the central BJP from Delhi is looking for the details of expanses. Sources in Delhi BJP have said why the bank stopped the money, exactly how much money is an overdraft or what is the real problem will be investigated.
