16 year old PU student ended life by jumping from the terrace of the 10 storeyed residential building in chalukya circle on Sunday.
The deceased identified as Prakurthi,resident of Sanjay nagar pursuing second PU in private college.
The victim was preparing for the exam and ventured out of the house in the afternoon stating she will be back by evening.
She ventured into the apartment and went to the terrace using lift before jumping,the police said.
She crashed on the car parked in the parking area and died on the spot.
The High grounds police rushed to the spot and found few hundred notes and a mobile from her pocket and contacted the family members.
The high grounds police have taken up an UDR case and are investigating to ascertain the reason behind her extreme step.
