he Republic Day contingent 2023 of NCC Directorate Karnataka & Goa was felicitated by the Hon’ble Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot in “AT HOME” Function on 08th Feb 2023 at Rajbhavan.
The Governor congratulated the entire team for their remarkable achievement in Republic Day Camp 2023 as the contingent secured IVth position in overall standing.
He expressed his appreciation to the 111cadets who got selected from a cadets strength of 95000 to represent the NCC Dte Karnataka & Goa.
The hon’ble Governor emphasized that NCC plays a vital role in grooming and shaping of our youth and making them responsible citizens of the country.
The hon’ble Governor expressed his commitment for enhancing the training infrastructure of NCC and assured his support for its creation.
He also highlighted the Central and State Government’s initiatives like skill development aimed at equipping the youth to contribute towards our society and nation building.
The hon’ble Governor also appreciated various social services & community development activities carried out by the NCC cadets
In conclusion,the hon’ble Governor advised the cadets to pursue their dream and strive hard for its fulfillment.
