Abhijit Ray, Kolkata:Mamta’s cabinet member Subrata Saha, Minister in charge of Food Processing and Horticulture Department of the State, has left the illusion of this world and passed on to the next world. He died of heart attack. He was admitted to Murshidabad Medical College Hospital but could not be saved. The political circle is saddened by the death of the state minister.He recently underwent gallbladder surgery. He was in Kolkata for several days. He recovered and returned to Murshidabad on Wednesday. The minister suddenly felt chest pain on Thursday morningand was taken to Murshidabad Medical College and Hospital’s ICU. Treatment began during wartime activities but that did not help at all. Minister Subrata Saha died in that hospital. Earlier, Subrata Saha was theTrinamool president of Murshidabad district and he was the first to win the Trinamool symbol. Subratababu was the MLA of Sagardighi. He was also the minister with independent charge of the food processing and horticulture department of the state. No one can accept the hard reality like Subratababu’s sudden death.
