26 December 2022 : For the first time this year “Veer Bal Diwas” has been celebrated in Major dhyanchand stadium, New Delhi where prime minister Shri Narendra Modi addresses thousands of Sikh community people present there. Modi says martyrdom of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons Fateh Singh & Zorawar Singh against violence of Mughal’s was remarkable for all of us.
PM Modi also adds that this martyrdom will always remind us for the true spirit of Indian super heroes.
Along with PM Modi another special guests named as cabinet minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann along with BJP minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa were present during the event.
On 9th January 2022 during Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti PM Modi said that we will organize Veer Bal Diwas on every 26th December.
During this event around 3000 school children participated in a road show rally. A lot of sikh people who attended this event were very much excited due to the presence of PM Modi. Some people also request that 26th December needs to be listed as National Holiday.
