A 22-year-old bike rider and his friend riding pillion were killed in a self accident while they were returning home in an inebriated state on Laggere ring road on Sunday night .
The deceased has been identified as Devaraju, and his friend Jagadisha,22 were working in a private factory in Peenya.
Senior officer told reporters,it is found that the duo was drunk and riding without helmet.
Probe revealed that they are riding in rash and negligent manner lost control and rammed into under construction sign board for the parapet wall under construction.
The duo sustained severe head injuries and passers-by shifted them to KC General hospital where Devaraj was declared as brought dead. while Jagadisha succumbed in the early hours.
The Rajajinagar traffic police have taken up a case and are probing.
