Tajpur Port is being handed over to Adani Group by the West Bengal  state government

This initiative is undoubtedly a milestone in the industry of Bengal. When the construction of this port is completed, not only will there be a great benefit in the transportation of goods, but also a great door will be opened for employment based on this port.Chief Secretary Harikrishna Dwivedi handed over the Letter of Intent to Karan Adani, one of the leaders of the Adani Group, in the presence of the Chief Minister on the sidelines of the Vijaya Sammilani function at Mitshtaka (named by the Chief Minister) in Eco Park. Industries Minister Shashi Panja and Industries Secretary Vandana Yadav were there.A few months ago, in a state cabinet meeting, it was decided that the Tajpur port would be handed over to the Adani group. After that the letter of interest was given to Karan Adani keeping in mind the auspicious moment of Vijaya Sammilani. 25 thousand crore rupees will be invested in this project. More than 50,000 jobs will be created when the construction is completed. The Chief Minister said that industry is happening in the state.72000 crore investment is being made in Jangalmahal.
