9 including 14 minors booked for brandishing arms and shouting provocative slogans
As many as as 19 people including 14 minors have been detained for carrying out procession with arms and shouting provocative slogans in someshwar nagar in siddapura police station limits on Sunday.
The police took suo Motu action and booked the accused under unlawfully assembly and arm’s act.
The accused were arrested under special drive launched by police through identify them with rhe video footage recorded in the mobile phones of the police personnel deployed for security.
Tension prevailed for sometime when on Tuesday hundreds of people related to the accused gathered outside police station and staged protest.
The protestors had heated arguments with media personnel who tried to record them.
