Abhijit Ray, Kolkata: -Former West Bengal State Education Minister Partha Chatterjee will be kept in the Presidency Correctional Facility.On the other hand, Paratha’s close friend Arpita Mukherjee has been taken to the Alipore Women’s Correctional Facility. The court ordered 14 days of jail custody for both. The court has also ordered that the ED can interrogate the correctional facility if necessary. On Friday evening, Partha was taken out of the Bankshall court in a police’prison van’.The car headed towards the Presidency Jail. Police were deployed all over the road from the court to the Presidency Correctional Facility to prevent any untoward situation. Police officers and workers are also present in front of the prison. A source in the state prison department said that the prison department officials will decide which ward the former state education minister will be kept in the correctional facility. Formal Education Minister and TMC General Secretary Partha is being sacked from the Trinomial Congress Party as well as from the cabinet.
