He was IG Traffic North Bengal. Ajay Mukund Ranade has been promoted to the post of ADG of Armed Forces. Soma Das Mitra is the new DIG CID.Anil Srinivas is the new Security and Vigilance Advisor of Rajya Vidyut Nigam. Awadhesh Pathak became SP Traffic North Bengal from DC SSD of Jadavpur division. Kolkata Police DC DD Special Surya Pratap Yadav is the new DC SSD of Jadavpur Division. Kumar Gaumat has been made SS IB of State Police.Asansol-Durgapur Commissionerate DC Sadar Anshuman Saha is CO of Cooch Behar’s Narayani Battalion. Oris Bilal is the new DC DD Special of Kolkata Police. Two more IPS officers have also been appointed to new posts.
