Leading real estate company booked by Fire and Emergency Deputy Director for forging no objection certificate to obtain approval from BDA

The Bharati Nagar police have registered a case of forgery and cheating against Assistant Manager of a leading real estate company for forging a no objection certificate of fire department to obtain approval from the BDA for the residential apartment complex constructed in Yelahanka .

Though the incident occurred between May 2013 and October 2018,the fraud came to light when fire officials verified the documents recently and filed a complaint with the Bharati Nagar police on Thursday.

T N Shivashankar,Deputy Director of Fire and Emergency services who probed the incident said that the accused Vijay Kumar Kondapatti, worked as assistant manager with SHOBHA Limited Company,was assigned from the company to get the NOC from fire department to get approval from BDA and to take possession certificate .

However Vijay Kumar forged the certificate of fire department to apply and get the required approval.

The fire department officials cross checked with the company before filing a complaint with the police .

The police are now sought the documents from the department for further investigations.
