he Byappanahalli police on Monday arrested a rowdy sheeter and his associate for beating his distant relative to death over a love proposal on July 15.
The accused have been Nagendra,having a attempt to murder case against him and his associate Rangaswamy.
Senior officer told reporters,the deceased Prajwal resident of Vasanthapura in Konanakunte had proposed the niece of accused Nagendra and even spoke to her after sourcing her contact number through his cousin,Vishnu.
Probe revealed that Prajwal and the accused are distantly related and Nagendra was furious about Prajwal stalking to her niece on her social account.
Enraged by this Nagendra contacted Vishnu and forced him to get Prajwal to an isolated place on OMR road on July 15.
The duo beat up Prajwal badly and left him profusely bleeding.He was shifted to a near-by isolation hospital where the doctors declared him as brought dead.
Based on the complaint filed by Santosh,brother of Prajwal,the police track down the accused through Vishnu and arrested them.
The duo have been charged under murder and remanded to judicial custody.
