KTR said Telangana was at the top of the list of states competing for more investment in the semiconductor and display fab sectors. Rajesh Mehta said that the display fabric manufacturing industry is being set up under the ‘India Semiconductor Mission’ program undertaken by the Central Government. He said the industry, which will be set up in Telangana, will have the opportunity to attract the best talent in the world. The state-of-the-art plant will provide employment to 3,000 scientists and other state-of-the-art technology professionals. He also said that thousands of jobs would be created in the form of Display Fab partners, affiliates and suppliers in the sector. Jayesh Ranjan, Chief Secretary, Industries and IT, Sujay Karampuri, Director, Electronics;
