A 38-year-old cook was killed and his colleague injured when a speeding truck collided the motorcycle they were travelling on NICE road Sunday evening.
The deceased Shivaraju,resident of Aralimaranadoddi in Ramanagar was returning home with his friend from work .
While they reached Chikkanahalli on NICE road, a speeding truck knock them down and sped away.
Shivaraju,who was riding pillion along with the rider Srinivasa slipped from the bike and sustained severe injuries.
Passers-by rushed them to a near-by hospital where Shivaraju was declared dead.
The Kengeri traffic police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating .
