Three member gang arrested by Chamarajpet Police, cracked jewellery shop robbery case within hours Recovered stolen property Worth Rs.9 lakhs

The West Division police of Chamarajapete police have arrested a gang of three who robbed a jewellery shop and made away with 8 kgs of silver biscuits cash Rs.3.3 lakh total worth Rs. Nine lakh on Saturday.

Senior officer told reporters,The robbery was reported on Sunday morning,based on the complaint a police team led by Inspector,E Yerriswamy and his team swung into action and sounded high alert across city.

The team visited the crime spot and after verifying one of the CCTV footage the team found the identity of the accused.

Based on information the team zeroed in on and arrested Rahul Jain and his associates Rajesh and Madhu within four hours.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime the accused has been Rahul jain was working as sales in the jewel shop owned by Uttam Jain.

Rahul also owned a readymade garment shop in Sudduguntepalya.

Due to his lavish lifestyle,Rahul incurred huge loss and he planned to rob the gold shop to recover the loss.

As per the plan he roped his associates Rajesh and Madhu and the trio came to the shop on Saturday night in a car .

While Rahul was supervising the operations Rajesh and Madhu broke open the shop and took away the valuables.

Rahul took all precautionary measure like turning away the CCTV cameras installed outside the shop and even wearing a helmet to cover his face,which eventually gave the clue for the police.

The accused was also raising the throttle of the bike parked outside the shop while the accused were breaking open the shutter to avoid the sound.

On Sunday morning when Uttam Jain came to the shop and found his shop burgled he reported the incident.

The police swung into action and Analyzed the CCTV cameras from in and around the area and came across a helmet wearing suspect.

Uttam jain identified the helmet as he had seen many time Rahul was using the similar kind of helmet.

On suspicion when police called Rahul he started to avoid, based on which the police track him down and arrested .

A detailed questioning led him to confess based on the statement Rajesh and Madhu were arrested.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,C H Pratap Reddy has appreciated Addl CP West, Sandeep Patil,DCP West,Dr Sanjeev M Patil, ACP,KC Giri,PI,E Yerriswamy and his crime team who has done commendable job in detecting the case within four hours and nabbing the accused and recovering the stolen property from him a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
