This year’s seventh Swasth Bharat Sarathi Award to Senior Journalist Amit Kumar

New Delhi. This year’s seventh ‘Swasth Bharat Sarathi’ award will be given to senior journalist Amit Kumar by Swasth Bharat (Nyas), an organization working in the field of health. Amit Kumar will be given this honor in a two-day ‘Swasthya Amrit Manthan Shivir’ organized at Mewar Institute in Delhi-NCR. While Karnataka Health Institute, (Belgaum Karnataka), Kasturba Health Society (Wardha/Maharashtra) and Virat Hospice (Jabalpur/Madhya Pradesh) will be given the Sushila Nair Swasth Bharat Excellence Award in the name of the country’s second woman health minister, Sushila Nair.
Amit Kumar has been doing journalism for more than two decades and has received many prestigious awards. At present, Amit Kumar is working as a senior reporter in the national daily newspaper Rashtriya Sahara. He has also been awarded the ‘Sahitya Kriti’ award for the year 2006-2007 by the Hindi Academy of Delhi Government for his book ‘Public Relations’. Apart from this, this year’s Best Critic Award has also been received from Natsamrat Rang Sanstha. And at the same time, the book ‘Successful Captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’ (Diamond Pocket Books) written by Amit Kumar on cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been the best seller. Has adapted the first Hindi novel ‘Pariksha Guru’ into a serial for Doordarshan and has also written its screenplay and dialogues.
In the seventh foundation day celebration organized by the organization, a two-day national health contemplation camp is being organized on the topic ‘Role of Indian health ecosystem in building a healthy India, with special reference to Kovid-period’. On this occasion, two dozen people from across the country associated with different fields were honored with ‘Swasth Bharat Sarathi Samman’ and a dozen people.
‘Swasth Bharat Yatri Samman’ will be awarded. Prasoon Lata (Delhi), Dr. Som Shekhar (Uttarakhand), Kumar Krishnan (Bihar), Mrs. Priyanka (Bihar), Ashutosh Kumar Singh (Bihar), Ashok Priyadarshi (Posthumous) etc. will be given to the recipients.
