Do not protect or shelter the criminals: CM Bommai

We are acting tough against the criminals. No one should support or shelter the criminals, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said.

The Chief Minister was speaking at a programme where Union Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the Ballari Regional Forensic Sciences Laboratory.

The Union Home minister has provided Rs750 cr for Karnataka under the Nirbhaya scheme. Over 7000 CCTV cameras have been installed in Bengaluru for safety and security of women using the funds, Bommai said and thanked Shah for taking a decision to establish the FSL University campus in Karnataka.

Forensic Sciences Labs

Forensic Sciences Labs have been established in all the divisions of the State.FSLs play a crucial role in detecting crime, gathering evidence and ensuring punishment for the criminals.

Union minister Prahlad Joshi, Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra, Higher Education minister Dr. CN Ashwathnarayan, MP PC Mohan and other dignitaries were present.
