Railway Police cracked murder case of sales executive,Six arrested

he City Railway police cracked the murder case of 24-year-old sales executive and arrested six persons.

The accused are,Yatish Kumar,25,Lohith Kumar R, 22,Rajashekar K,24,Abhishek S,19,Sharath, 20,all five residents of Kengeri and Jeevan, 22, of Nagadevanahalli .

Senior officer told reporters,On April 24, Bharath along with his friend Sharath went to watch Karaga procession in Kengeri.

Our Home guard,Prasanna,attached with Kengeri Railway police station saw the gang stabbing Bharath,they were trying to take the body and dispose of it somewhere around 2 am.But, Prasanna blew a whistle and chased the gang away alone.

Based on the incident a special team was formed and the team with the help of technical and police intelligence nabbed all the six murder accused from MM hills from where they took shelter.

During investigation the accused confessed the crime it was revealed that the accused Sharath was riding on a bike under the influence of alcohol along with Abhishek.

He accidentally touched Bharath which led to an argument.Sharath assaulted biker who went back and returned with his associates and attacked them.

Sharath escaped while the Bharath was caught and stabbed by the gang repeatedly before they drag his body and tried to dump on the railway track to make it look like accidental death.

A details investigation it was revealed that they have old rivalry with Bharath and killed over a road rage incident during Karaga procession in Kengeri on April 24.

The police took up investigations and track down the accused at MM hills where they had taken shelter .

The accused have been booked under murder and remanded to judicial custody while further investigations are on.
