Delhi/NCR, April 28, 2022- Wave City has launched a unique state of the art sports academy — Sportzon– in association with Delhi Capitals, a franchising cricket team of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The academy will be located in Wave City, Ghaziabad, one of the largest townships in India and the first fully functional smart city.
The sports academy is being built to create a unique infrastructure for talented youth & sports enthusiasts around the vicinity and provide state-of-the-art facilities at cost-effective pricing.
The sports facility has entered into a definitive agreement to house Delhi Capital cricket academy, which would train children aged 5-16 years. Wave City has also joined hands with Citiskape Sports to train sports enthusiasts.
The sports complex, spread over 1,10,000 sqft is strategically located on NH 24, which is adjacent to the outer Noida region, which contains the residential and commercial hubs of Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, Crossing Republic, Noida Extension, and Noida. Based on the PSP (Public semi-public) land model, the sports complex will comprise varied sports options such as cricket pitches, tennis courts, basketball courts, and an advanced astroturf football court of standard seven aside futsal spread across 12000 sqft.
The sports facility is set up as per the international standards providing world-class sports facilities and will cater to the sports requirements of corporates, colleges, schools and nearby residential areas. The company is also collaborating with various national and international players for providing coaching and advice to sports lovers.
